Services from the Office of Clinical Research

The Office of Clinical Research (OCR) provides support services to clinical researchers working on clinical trials within Indiana University, IU Health, and Eskenazi Health systems. The OCR team is comprised of IU and IU Health staff and organized into several groups:

• Contracts – focuses on executing contracts with commercial sponsors.
• Coverage Analysis – provides support and guidance to principal investigators and their staff to ensure that services associated with a clinical trial are billed appropriately.
• Statewide Research Network – a collaborative network of IU Health facilities that focuses on multisite clinical trials to provide more opportunities for patients to enroll in essential clinical trials, while saving each participating site time, money, and resources.
• Systems Services – maintains the clinical research management system (OnCore).

In addition, the OCR has developed education and training resources for the research community.
